The subject of the research is the speed and time indicator of the driving of a cargo train with a fixed axle load of the wheelset, organized by an electric locomotive of the Uz-EL type on the studied sections of the railway track. Purpose: confirmation of the indicators of movement of a cargo train with a constant axle load, which was carried out by simulating the transportation process on imaginary and existing areas of Uzbek railway, implemented by AC electric locomotives in non-stop modes and with stops at intermediate crossing points. Methods: The research methodology is based on the methods of locomotive traction theory, including computing tools and computer programs, taking into account the necessary programming applications in the MathCad environment and the Excel spreadsheet processor for solving traction problems. Results: using computer modeling, the speed and time parameters of a freight train's movement were determined, taking into account the dynamics of fluctuations in their reduced values on sections of railways of various types. Practical significance: The research results can be used in the activity of the locomotive depots of the Kokand railway junction and implemented on areas of Uzbek railway with different types of track profiles for the existing modes of functioning of cargo traffic.
